Lowe's ~ Build and Grow

Saturday, before Will's flag football game, Jeremy and I took

the boys to Lowe's to the Build and Grow Clinic. When we lived in

Austin, we would take Will to these and he loved it. Rhett is now

the age that Will started going so we thought it would be a good time

to introduce Rhett to building. He loves "Handy Manny" so we knew

he would get a kick out of hammering like "Handy Manny."

Too cute...Rhett wore the apron and the goggles...Will never wore them

when he was Rhett's age...He does now!

Will is soo much older now, he can do the project

without any help...tear, tear. (but happy too...he enjoyed

reading and following the directions.)

MOPS "Recipe" Swap

We had our MOPS "recipe" Swap Wednesday night.

Ashley was so kind to open her house up to all of us.

We all shared some of our favorite recipes and food. It was

lots of fun! Of course, we all got to chat it up while sampling

all the dishes everyone brought. All were delicious!

We had a drawing to give away an apron,

our friend Carrie won it!

We also compiled all our recipes and made a

MOPS "recipe" swap book. Lots of yummy recipes

for me to try over the holidays.

Ashley, thank you soo much for having all of us

over to your house. It was so much fun planning, creating

and making everything for this night. Can't wait for our next

Mom's Night Out!

Resting

Today is day 2 for Will to be home. He is feeling much

better but he is weak. He had a small episode this morning but

I think that was because he only ate 2 crackers yesterday and tried

to eat a powdered donut this am. He is just taking it easy and

sipping on sprite. Here is a pic of him coloring and showing off

his missing tooth (#5). Hopefully, he will get to go to school tomorrow.

Rhett decided he wanted to play with play~doh. He likes

for me to roll his doh into small balls. He lines them up and

counts each one, makes a pattern and then smooches them.

I am just hoping that Rhett does not get this stomach virus

Will has. It has been hard for me to keep him away from Will.

He just doesn't understand.

I have been getting ready for a MOPS Mom's Night Out.

Thank goodness Ashley is hosting it at her house. I do not

think anyone would want to visit the "lysol" house. She and I have

been working hard to get everything ready and I think it is. I will have

to share pics later. Hope you are having a good day! It is beautiful here today.

Will's Sick

Will is sick. He was up 3 times last night. Made it to

the bathroom 2 of the 3 times. Yea! He really wanted to

go to school today but I did not think he needed to. He

needs to rest today. Als0, the night before, Will woke me

up in the middle of the night to tell me he had a loose tooth.

Really, I told him that could have waited until the morning. Then

he explained that he thought it was a permanent tooth and he was

worried. So, we checked it out and it was a baby tooth. I did not think it

was that loose. I guess it was because he pulled his tooth at school yesterday.

So during the night the tooth fairy visited and he got sick. What a night!

Hopefully, he will feel better soon!

One Last Time

Well, yesterday we had one last time with the

Campbell kids. Will and Rhett had so much

fun with Ethan and Avery! They are really going

to miss their buddies. (tear, tear) Hopefully,

we will get to visit them in Colorado.

We love you Campbell Family! Be safe as you

Rock Band 3

Daddy surprised Will with Rock Band 3!

Will has been waiting for October 26th to arrive

since June. He earned Rock Band 3 because he

had such an amazing 1st grade end of the year

report card! WOW! He waited a looong time.

Everyone has been enjoying playing it!

Way to go WILL! Keep up the AWESOME work!

Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 was released this week!

You know who has been watching it 24/7?

You guessed it....Rhett Wade! He loves it!
